The Request a Quote feature on Dukkan lets you negotiate the price of a product with the seller before buying, exactly as you would in a traditional market, but in an organized way through the site.
How to send a quote request
- Open the page of the product you want.
- Click the Request a Quote button (it appears in place of the Add to Cart button for products open to bargaining).
- Select the options you want (size, color, and so on) and the quantity, then submit your request.
What happens next
- Your request reaches the seller, who can respond with a price offer (it may be lower than the listed price or equal to it).
- The seller response arrives in the Quote Requests page within your account.
- When a price offer arrives you can:
- Accept the offer: the product is added to your cart at the agreed price, and you complete the order as usual.
- Reject the offer: if the price does not suit you.
- Delete the request if you are no longer interested.
Notes
- Price offers have a validity period; if it expires before you accept, the request shows as expired and you can send a new one.
- You can have one active quote request per product at a time; follow the responses from the Quote Requests page in your account.
- Negotiate politely and clearly: state the quantity you want precisely, because many sellers give a better discount for larger quantities.
