Selling on Dukkan

Selling on Dukkan is open to everyone: artisans, workshop owners, wholesale and retail traders, and anyone with a product they want to reach buyers across all Syrian governorates. Opening a shop is currently free, and Dukkan does not deduct any commission from your sales.

Steps to open your shop

1. Create an account on Dukkan if you do not have one yet (see the article How to Create a New Account on Dukkan).
2. Click the Sell Now button at the top of the page.
3. Fill in the shop opening form:
   • Your first and last name.
   • The shop name that buyers will see; choose a clear name that reflects your activity.
   • The phone number buyers will use to reach you.
   • Location: governorate and city.
   • A brief description of your shop and activity; if a field for uploading a proof document appears, it is currently not mandatory.
4. Submit the request, and you will receive a response after a quick review by the Dukkan team.

After your shop is approved

• The seller dashboard opens for you with all the selling tools: adding products, following sales, responding to quote requests and comments, and shop settings.
• From Shop Settings upload your shop logo and cover and write a good description; from Shop Policies clarify your own shipping and return conditions for buyers.
• Your first task after opening: add your products (see the article How to List Your First Product).

Notes

• The status of your shop opening request appears on the same page: under review, accepted, or rejected with the reason stated, and you can apply again.
• Your shop reputation is built on product quality and fast responses to buyers; responsive shops sell more.
