Buying & Payments

The payment method currently available on Dukkan is Cash on Delivery: you receive the product first and then pay for it in cash to the courier or the seller at the moment of delivery. This gives you the chance to inspect the product before paying, and lets you and the seller agree directly on the delivery details.

How it works

1. When checking out, choose Cash on Delivery as the payment method.
2. The seller will contact you via messages or phone to agree on the delivery time and method (courier, personal pickup, and so on).
3. Receive the product, make sure it matches the description, then pay the agreed amount in cash.

Important notes

• Keep your conversations with the seller inside the Dukkan messaging feature, because they are your reference in any dispute over price or delivery timing.
• The Cash on Delivery option appears only for sellers who have enabled it in their shops. If the option does not appear for a specific product, message the seller directly to agree on a payment method that works for both of you.
• We are working on adding electronic payment methods in the future, and we will announce them as soon as they are enabled.
• Be careful: do not pay any amount before receiving the product unless you agreed on it in writing via messages, and never share your card or bank account details with anyone.
